Vehicle Recovery Procedures

Auto-Rescue Logistics provides accident and breakdown recovery services across the United Kingdom and Europe for all classes of vehicles.  It is a major player in the vehicle recovery industry currently providing services to many key insurers and large commercial fleets. 

There are no fees or charges in setting up the scheme, either fixed charges (Schedule 1), or charges from the fixed menu
(Schedule 2), only apply on each occasion the service is used.  We provide a dedicated multi-line telephone number that identifies the caller, and immediately displays that organisation's details on screen in front of the operator taking the call in the control centre. From our computerised system we are able to provide electronic delivery of daily, weekly, or monthly vehicle recovery data and management information.

We provide standard windscreen and driver notices as shown right.

We can adapt the notice to incorporate your company logo or information.  Commercial vehicle fleets adopt one of two strategies :

We have a 30 minute on scene response time throughout the UK, although there are exceptions to this in the West of Scotland and the South West of England during the peak holiday season.

Where loaded vehicles are involved in accidents, especially in timed deliveries, we make every effort to either tranship any undamaged load as a priority (co-ordinating this action with the transport operator), or where necessary deliver the casualty vehicle to the nearest depot.

Casualty vehicles can be taken directly to body-repairers, depots, or stored overnight in our secure compounds for onward delivery/collection the next day, our actions entirely dependent upon the instructions we receive.

Our UK control centre, based in Northampton, employs several linguists covering most European languages to assist in all European incidents and repatriation requirements.  Within our UK vehicle recovery network we have a number of vehicle recovery operators who specialise in the recovery and transportation of both private cars and heavy commercial vehicles from mainland Europe.

Our Northampton office is able to provide “out of hours” call and claim handling services.

Auto-Rescue Logistics are aware that even relatively minor accidents can have considerable ‘knock on’ effects for both for the owner / driver and other road users.

Road Traffic Accidents are always a potential cause of serious traffic congestion, as well as being a danger to both the vehicle occupants and other road users.  The rapid attendance of our highly professional services minimises these risks.

Our control centre operators are trained to identify situations where callers may require medical attention. We also recognise that every accident could be the first time the caller has been involved in a road traffic accident and may be suffering from acute stress.
